What is everyone Thoughts on this New Reinforced Update??
I know it Currently isn't FULLY Out, but the Current Build 252 had the Groundworks (and has pretty much broken the game for now)

Well, it's hard to say right now, because as you mentioned, the update pretty much broke the game and the servers. The console is going nuts, performance is worse than ever, and the Dx11 mode is poorly optimized. Sooo... overall, I'm happy? I guess? I mean, I love new stuff to play with, especially a new map. I can't wait to see the full bug-free update ;)

Im excited on the map also. Otherwise, I like the update except for the fact of the Game being Broken, the new Alien Vision, Skulk Speed, and Cluster Grenades being OP

Well, not sure why, but the 253 Patch was just released, including female marines, biodome, and more.

Can't Complain for Reinforced being released Early.... For some reason.. I felt like I was expecting more.........

Anyone understand How the new Catagory, Skill works in the server list?

No, I'm still not sure if it represents the server's skill level or the players' currently on it.
I'm waiting for the change log to learn more.

So, I wasn't really impressed by UWE's financial strategy, and the prices for the different donation packages are way too high for what you get (couple of skins and a forum badge). Therefore, at first, I figured I'd just wait and see.
After thinking about it for a few days though, I feel it's a noble goal and attempt. They had two choices: release paid expansions (and risk completely destroying their already small, but dedicated, community) or go F2P. While I like what Valve did with TF2 (except how stupid easy it is to make multiple accounts to cheat and troll without being punished), I don't really see how it would work for NS2. I'm assuming cosmetic skins (like the ones offered in the Reinforced donation packages), but I'm not sure if it would be enough.
In the end, this "we'll trust our fans to sponsor us" idea is interesting and I think it deserves a chance. Ultimately, I might be a cynic and I doubt they'll succeed in the long run... but, I want to still help and see what happens. That's why I've donated $75 for the Shadow package. After all, if NS2 dies, our server dies too ;) Server ops should get a special skin as well! :)

Have you guys donated as well? Or do you think it's the wrong business move?
I guess, even if it fails, I'll have some cool skins to show off... right? Can't be worse than my TF2 hat collection! (Worst is my Steam emoticon collections, but that's another topic.)

Now that everyone is used to Reinforced, and its a bit ironed out a bit... How's everyone's Thoughts about Reinforced... and Also, Hows everyones feels about the new Assault/Elite Assault Marine Skins, and then the Shadow Skulk
Personally, Im liking the update now.. except for the Alien Vision still..
Skins are nice, Shadow Skulk is ok.. Could have been better :)
