A lot has been going on lately. Since we put up the Payload server, we've been modifying server plugins to tailor them to our needs. Here's what we're currently working on:

Class Balance: This plugin offers a dynamic and very customizable approach to limiting classes. It also sends notifications to players if a class is overflowed. We currently only plan on targeting a few classes. More info in the future.

Mapchooser Advanced: Further extends our own version of mapchooser exended, adding a great deal more depth and control to how maps are chosen, ensuring players always have an enjoyable map to play next.

Donator Perks: Slot reservations and preferential treatment by certain mods, as well as access to commands such as votekick, voteban, and others.

Donation benefits are in the works, but won't be ready until we find out wtf is going on with Quickplay lately.  :mad: Also, we don't plan on offering any gameplay perks like more health, glowing hats or whatever. Only scramble immunity, reserved slot access, unique chat color, etc...

Hopefully yall can set up the donations through PayPal. I use it for almost all my internet transactions.

We do have a Paypal account for donations to keep the gameservers and our website going. It's a bit hidden at the moment on the Home page at the bottom. And it's not very pretty. On the next website version, we'll be changing the Home layout quite a bit and make it much easier to donate.

Also, keep in mind, we do not give any donator benefits like other servers do right now. It's still something we need to add. But, we will never give any perks that gives an unfair advantage ingame.

I am not really here for "Perks" , I prefer to be killing and capping myself. I play to get rid of the stress of the day not to gain notoriety.

Right, as I said, we won't hand out "super powers" to donators. That's not the kind of servers I like to play on. The idea is to give something back, some recognition to players that kindly contributes to our TF2 community. A bit like the Verified Membership idea, but with some added benefits.

  I totaly agree with you on this. I have seen players abuse their privlidges given them by the server operators. Reserved spots would be nice, maybe a different color for donators names too. But that is all I personaly would stick in there until you find trustworthy players to give them a bit more.

I don't think abuse will be an issue at all with donator perks. If people are willing to pay for privileges, they probably value them enough that they'll use them reasonably. And if somebody does take advantage of their privileges, they'll lose both their privileges *and* their money.

Its really quick and simple as long as you have web space on your server. I can link you to a few guides that I used when I set it up for myself.
