Hey guys,
Just a quick note if you're wondering why the server isn't online.
After today's patch, Valve has changed something that crashes all SourceMod servers after a player connects.
I don't have an ETA as to when this issue will be resolved, I'm following SM and will update the server as soon as their devs have a new build.
Sorry about that and I'll post here again once the issue is solved.

The server is back online after installing the new SourceMod version.
It should be working except for one big problem: Reserved Slots are not currently working.
The extension and plugin we're using are broken after the patch and will need to be updated/fixed.
I don't have an ETA for that at the moment, but I'm trying to figure it out. Otherwise we need to wait for a fix from the extension author.
I'll update this thread with more info later.

Still seeing some crashes even after installing latest builds.
I'll keep troubleshooting tonight to try to fix this.

Sorry guys, I'm still troubleshooting the issue. At this point, there are conflicts with 3rd party plugins/extensions, most are not updated by their authors anymore. (The TF2 plugins community isn't as big as it used to be for obvious reasons).
Its going to take more time, and I'll see if I can get something running without some features.
I don't have an ETA for now.

Quick Update:
I've made some progress, but unfortunately the server isn't going to be available this evening.
I will be working on this tonight, and hopefully have good news tomorrow.
I'm very sorry about this.
If you want more details:
- The new SM build fixed the common crashing issues affecting Sourcemod community servers.
- There's another problem that's only affecting our server. The update is causing a hard crash after the server is running for 1-2min.
- I've done a lot of troubleshooting and SM isn't the issue. I believe I've identified the problem, but I haven't figured out why/how to fix it yet.

Server is currently playable but isn't authenticating with Steam servers meaning:
- no loadout
- no in-game donator benefits
I'll keep working on it later tonight. Getting close!

Alright last update for tonight:
The server is back online and should be stable enough.
Everything should be back to normal with one big exception:
- The Reserved Slots are currently not working properly.
Unfortunately, the plugin we're using relies on an extension that is currently broken after yesterday's patch. Sadly it seems this extension isn't being updated by its author, so I might have to find an alternative.
I'm tired, so I'll stop there for tonight, but I'll be looking for a way to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.
I'm sorry again for the server being unavailable today, but hopefully you guys will be able to play tomorrow.

Some good news:
I found an alternative method to the reserved slots plugin we were using. It should work exactly like before, meaning if the server is full, you just need to use the "connect 66.151.138.182:27015" command in the console to join.
The server will always try to first kick a non-Verified Member at random.
The only big downside is that 2 slots need to be reserved at all times, meaning we'll have to play at a maximum of 30 players instead of 32 for the time being.
I will keep trying to fix the original method, but it might take longer, so I wanted to make sure our admins and donators could use the reserved slots ASAP. The goal is to get back to a 32 max player server, so don't worry!
Please let me know if you still cannot use the reserved slots or notice something wrong.

More good news!
I found a fix for the original reserved slots system.
So! That means everything should be back to normal, including 32 max players.

Valve did it again.
The reserved slots are currently not working after today's patch (10/08).
Valve changed a function that breaks the sourcemod extension we're using for the reserved slots plugin.
I haven't found a way to fix it yet, I'll try to figure this out ASAP.

Reverted to old Reserved slot plugin until a fixed version of the current plugin is released.
Unfortunately that means the server has to be 30 players max, and verified members might get kicked to make room for a reserved slot.
Sorry about that, will get back to normal reserved slots as soon as the plugin is fixed.

Reserved slots are now fixed and should work like before.
Let me know if you still have troubles connecting to them.
And let's hope Valve doesn't keep changing/removing functions every week ><

It's that time once again.
The server is currently unavailable after today's patch (11/15/2021).
The patch breaks SourceMod, and most like the SM devs will need to release updated gamedata.
I don't have an ETA at the moment.

I identified the problem, and disabled the extension. The server is back online BUT without the broken extension a lot of features are not going to work. This includes Reserved slots and Map Chooser.
This is temporary solution.

I believe the SM devs released updated gamedata but since the server is full for now, I'll work on the server later tonight when its empty.

Until Valve releases a new patch and breaks everything again, that is. :)
