There are mods on www.sourcemod.net that try to modify MvM to add more players, but from my experience, TF2 cannot support more than 32 players, and I'm not even talking about performance. Then again, I'm no coder, so maybe it's possible. I'm not sure it would be fun though. 32 players is already quite "chaotic".

Yea, dont know why performance is crap. Source engine is like the lightest engine i have played on. I had a Phenom 955 OC to 4.2 ghz and i would still get dips around the 30s. That was paired with a 770. Then i upgraded to a 4770k. OC to 4.4 and i get dips around the 60s. Still pretty bad for a game from 2007. I dont even think ive had dips that extreme even on Battlefield 4.

I smell 64 player servers :)

If Counter strike: source can do 64 players, so can TF2. They also break some barriers with MVM with all those slots...

yea, ataris is right. I have seen all rng in one team and get slaughtered. I dont think "teamstack" is really a thing in my book. I have joined so many combinations of teams that anything could happen. One game, we get steam rolled. Next match after that, no auto balance, and we dominate. It all comes down to the individual player if he is willing to put in the effort. That is all.

Yes. I would want the system to kick me sometimes i think i am going to be back in a few minutes but dont. But i do, however, want to extend the time for an afk goes into spectator. I sometimes go to the restroom and come back to be in spectator and have to join the opposite team because there is no more room in the original team i was in.

Well, when Chainspell would gather us up to fill the server, it was great. The server stayed filled for hours. But after he has been gone for so long, yea it has been dead. I dont know how hard it would be if it would be a mixed server with both Payload and CP. That would be great to switch from Payload to CP without a major decline in players.

Hey! welcome to the server. This is a definitely great server-server-wise and player-wise. As for a matter of stats, i really dont care to be honest. I'm pretty new to this server as well. According to hyperion stats, I started playing August 2nd of 2012. So it is going to be 2 years already. Dam time flies. I just checked my rank and im really surprised. I never knew i was this high. I thought i was like in the 100dreds but being 31 blew me away. Anyways, enjoy it here.

yea me too. I just want that notification to leave my screen and just fist smash the F- area when it comes up :P Maybe program it to only come up during the start-up time? And yes, goldrush doesnt go away until it is picked that i have noticed

New maps are good but discouraging badwater and goldrush by limiting play times in a day is pretty bad IMO. Those maps are not bad or repetitive. I even see a server full of veterans where goldrush or badwater is still being picked. Yes new custom maps are fresh but no way even close to being as good as badwater or goldrush.

I think limiting classes is a bit arbitrary. It will probably wont work any further than how it is now. 5 spies might be terrible but if you look at the theoretical big picture, more spies=less enemy engies thus increasing enemy pyros thus putting the enemy pretty weak offensively. And the spies dont need to be good. Just harrassing and getting a backstab or two is enough. Constant spy harrassment will definately put the enemy in a sort-of paranoid state of mind. This always happens in hyperion and with just 3 spies! Limiting classes is a no-go by the simple fact that classes doesnt determine a player's contribution to the match. Heck,I am probably more than 50% of the time useless just trolling and doing other stuff and it doesnt include demo, spy or sniper.

YES! One question, what is the name of the first map in the OP's post? It looks ALOT like Beach Dead from Conker Live and Reloaded for the original Xbox. By playing it in conker, it can tell you it is HARD as hell if you are attacking.

yea. server #2 is mostly empty. It would be good to have a payload and CP server. That way, the regulars dont have to be bunching into one server. It would bring a good mix. I am definitely going spend a good time in CP server before going back to payload. And i dont think it should be server #2 anymore. Both servers have their own game mode.

I got severely bored of payload already. Mix things up a bit. Just imagine the interesting ways the quality players in hyperion do in capture the flag or king of the hill maps. I have been playing in this server for so long that "push the cart" is engraved in my mind when i think about TF2. TF2 is MUCH more than just payload.
