Can't seem to get interested in games except TF2

Man I used to play a ton of games. Now I can't get excited about any game.

I can always drop by TF2 and have fun tho. I guess I don't have the patience or time anymore to learn a new game. I used to love sim games too... just can't get into anything.

I'm looking for a new game to play when the server is empty. Maybe i'll just reinstall starcraft 2. Maybe I'll start making videos again. I worked so hard last year that I don't have to work this year if I wanted to lol.

Have you tried Skyrim, Diablo 3, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, Natural Selection 2? I haven't played all of them, but I hear that they're good!

I've been playing path of exile (http://www.pathofexile.com/) almost exclusively for the past couple weeks. It's an action rpg like diablo, but deeper and more complex. If you liked or hated diablo 3, I'd give it a shot. Kripp (http://www.youtube.com/user/Kripparrian?feature=watch) has some decent videos from december explaining how things work in the game.

Right now it's in closed beta, but you can get in by donating $10. And, open beta is on the 23rd of this month. When it's released, it'll be free to play.

I was gonna play PoE when Open Beta was released. I've been playing Borderlands 2 for the last week or so though.

Well, there are so many good games to play. It really depends on what genre you like.

For multiplayer FPS with teamwork and strategy, I really recommend Natural Selection 2. It takes a little bit to get into, but once you do, it's an amazing game. And we have a server running 24/7

Skyrim is also a great game, but you need to install mods. Otherwise, it's a bit bland.
Dave mentioned Path of Exile, which is a good Diablo 2 clone, compared to the disappointing D3. Starcraft 2 is also great fun, especially with the new expansion coming.

Then, there's DOTA2 if you like MOBAs... I play a lot of 4X strategy games lately, both sci-fi and fantasy, but there are so many to list. One of my favorites lately is Crusader Kings 2. Takes a while to understand, but it's really cool.

hehe i heard about path of exile from someone before. looks pretty good too.

lol the way you talk i used to be like that, i used to play so many games. just can't get excited anymore. i played diablo 3 to the ground pretty much. almost 24/7 lol. and then i realized it really sucked.

im mainly bored but cant get excited about playing other games. lol so weird.

For srs. Every time the season sales roll around, I blow all my money on new games. Also, just learned about the Humble Bundles too. Took all of my willpower not to buy the last one...

Heh, I'm the same. I think it's some kind of compulsive behavior. I've been buying so many games, games I have already played before, old games I probably will never play and even games I have no interest in, just because it was a good deal I couldn't pass up.

If you guys want, I could try to post whenever there are some good deals going on. At least, I won't be the only victim then

Torchlight 2

Torchlight 2 is fun, but quite boring in single player.
Make sure to play coop, because the story is ridiculous. Especially if you thought D3's story was bad.

At least you don't have to be online to be play Torchlight 2, and I kinda like the character progression/items drops a lot better than D3. I really don't like the extreme cartoony graphics though.
