Map Votes

Was playing the other day and we had 3 or 4 map votes in a 2 minute period.

Rtv was called, and a map one.  Admin revoted for RTV or Custom.  Rtv wins.  Rtv called and cashworks wins.  I guess the admin didn't like the vote's so decided to call a new vote for the map he wanted to play which somehow won the votes.

Sure maps get old, but just because you're an admin, you are 1/32 of the server pop, you don't get to pick what map you want to play.  I'm sorry other maps won but deal with it.

Best part was admin who did all of that left 5 minutes after and didn't even stay for the map.  Sure the map was decent, but we should really be playing what is voted for and not what the admin decides to change to after 5 votes.

I really don't recall it going down that way. (I'll admit my memory can be crap.)

I called the "RTV or Custom map vote?" vote, and I recall custom winning by a landslide. (It normally does.)

Is this part of the vote I screwed up and had to recall? I know it was a bit of a mess on my part but I'm the one who asked for the custom vote option, because I hated changing the map without a vote because I knew it chased people away!!

So again, I really don't recall it as you do.

Anyway, all I can say is I wont change the map without a vote! I can't speak for other admins though.
