Just wondering what you guys think of these two maps.
Upward is the 1-stage map where the cart starts at the bottom of a hill and moves in a long spiral upward.
Barnblitz is the 1-stage map set in a snowy area

I'll take Barnblitz all day over Upward! Throw out that relic!

I like them both equally. However it seems most users prefer Barnblitz. Especially the Payload regulars.

I just like to kill so the map doesn't really matter to me. I do ahve a couple favorites though but will save them for another post.

Try throwing in pl_Hoodoo in there. In my opinion, it's the funnest payload map!

It's funny every time someone does an RTV upward wins, however that map for some reasson is the most hated. People always get tired of it like within 2 games. I personally like both because the end is the best.

I really like Upward, to me it's no.2 Payload behind Hoodoo.

I like both Barnblitz and Upwards.
That last cap in Upwards is really a good test if either team is working together or not.
But in general, I like more variety. So, if I'm going to camp the same server day in and day out, I like to have a wider selections of maps. Two rounds per side, then a map change.

It seems you guys on average like both maps.
We've made some changes to map cycle recently, and barnblitz, hoodoo, thundermountain, etc... should be available on the map vote. Now, you just need to convince other players to vote for them. ;)

I like both of these maps equally. Please do not take them out of the rotation. Thank you.

Yes, old thread, but we don't plan on removing any official PL maps from the rotation. We try to have a bit more diversity as badwater/goldrush/upward/repeat can get boring.
