Urghghghghghg I really want to get a brand new PC. Playing off a laptop just isn't the same. I was hoping Newegg would have a 780ti on sale.

I doubt we're going to see a major sale on 780Ti if any at all.

SOB, I hate being poor.

I've been wanting to replace my SSD (80GB) for some time, and my GPU (5870) but unfortunately food/rent/bills take priority. Leaving very little for anything else.

My I7 950 is OC'd to 4.2 (from 3.06) and should be fine for awhile longer.

So many good deals, I can only wish to get. :(

Hehe I have an old i7 920 myself. I used to OC it but lol I haven't bothered with it in awhile, it's at 2.66ghz stock speed atm. After it crashed and reset I got too lazy to go in the bios and OC it again. maybe i'll do that now, but meh, it's like there's no real reason to. it's running the same way OC and not OC, atleast for my current uses.

Getting an SSD (especially for that price) is probably the best upgrade if using only HDDs.
It's insane how fast games load, especially TF2, on an SSD. I have two: one 120Gb for Windows/Apps and one 250Gb for Steam games I'm currently playing. Then a 3TB HDD for Steam games I'm not playing, but don't want to redownload, media files, etc...

I also still have an i7 950. Definitely could use an upgrade, but for gaming, it's alright. I'd love to go from a gtx670 to a 780ti though!

Too bad i cant find any good Intel or AMD cpu deals. I have a bottlenecking phenom 955 at 4.1 ghz with a gtx 770

PS: I also received an email from SabrePC for a black friday deal. I got it a few days ago but deleted it :( If i remember correctly, it said an 128gb ssd (dont remember brand) for 79 bucks. pretty hot deal huh? Man why did i delete it  :'( :'(

EDIT: I remember now. It was a Kingston HyperX 120gb-not 128 :P here it is:

Well, i ended up buying http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107). Finally I will get some decent load times.  :P The boring part will be reinstalling windows and downloading 50gb+ of games  :'( The weird thing is i have an old a*s hard drive from 2006 and i am always the first to join the team when map change. weird. But other games like BF4, it would literally take like 5 minutes to load a map.

How much did you buy it for? You know you can also clone the drive to the ssd. But fresh windows install will feel so much smoother. :D

I love, after the PITA part of installing, the feel of a fresh install. I recommend it over cloning. Even if a PITA.

^^
This. x2.
I try to keep everything organized on my drives, I use a lot of cleaning software, etc... and I still have to do fresh windows installs every 2 years or so. It's just so satisfying... Reinstalling Windows is boring, but damn I remember having to install Windows ME (and older versions)... Now, that was psychotic experience.

It still takes time, sure, but it's pretty easy.

Nice! I ended up buying games to add to my huge backlog. I'll never finish them all...
Ah well ;)
