Can I designate a preference team?

I saw another server has this function.

I like blue team. I hate red team.

BTW, I like this spell check function in this forum.

Odd, most people I know prefer defense over offense.

Currently, there's no way to indicate a a team preference during auto-scrambles.
You can however pair up with a friend using the command: sm_addbuddy in console then pick your friend's name in the menu. This will tell the auto-scramble plugin to try to put you and your friend on the same team. It doesn't always work, because sometimes teams are just too unbalanced (or you and your friend are too OP). However, you can only pair up with one other player at a time.

It's not a perfect solution (and it doesn't solve your issue), but it can be useful ;)

I'll look for ways to let players pick a "favorite" team for auto-scrambles in the future though.

Today, I was autoscrambled to red again.   >:(

Wouldn't picking a preference kinda defeat the purpose of an auto scramble?

How can there be a "winning" team if it's scrambled? You can prefer to be on Blue or Red, but if the scramble is successful (which happens half of the time), then both teams should even. I don't see a problem with sticking to a friend, as long as the other person is okay with it, and nobody else can stick to you anymore.
