What is Verified Membership (VM)?
VM is simply a way for us to reward players that enjoy playing on our servers. There's no donation required, no strings attached, or any obligations. We only ask that you meet the requirements below and that you verify your STEAM ID with us. Once you've been approved, you will receive all the benefits from being a VM.
What are the rewards?
In-Game:
- Special tag in chat: a green * in front of your name in chat on our servers only.
- Disable Server Ads: All the website/servers ads will be hidden from view. Only the help ads like Type !gameme etc... will still be visible.
- Sprays enabled: You may use sprays. Keep in mind however that using any kind of porn, racist, offensive, and inappropriate sprays is forbidden.
Forums:
- Upload your own avatar/Link offsite: finally, you can choose your own avatar on the forums. Rules still apply and no offensive avatars will be allowed.
- Group Name color: a green color name everywhere on the site to distinguish yourself from regular members.
- Custom Text under Avatar: customize your profile a little bit more. (Rules still apply)
- Use the ShoutBox: you may post small shouts in the ShoutBox on the front page. Only members with access to it can use/read it. Avoid spamming or asking long questions in the shoutbox.
How do you become a Verified Member?
- Register an account on these forums.
- Join our public Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/hyperiongaming
- Post at least once. The best thread to do so is in Introduce Yourselves (http://hyperiongaming.org/index.php?topic=82.0).
- Find your SteamID and fill in this form: http://hyperiongaming.org/index.php?page=page3457
- Click Submit!
We will be reviewing your application form, and you should receive an answer in the next 24 hours or less. If you've failed to do one of the steps above, we will notify you via Private Message.

Wait, there's one last thing.
After you have been approved to VM, you will receive an invite to a private steam group for our VMs and Donors. We will use this group to post special events, updates and rewards such as game and Donor membership giveaways. You're free to decline the invitation.
