Title: Halloween server stuck on lakeside

I think the server is stuck on lakeside when it's time to change maps =[

No, this is normal.
For today, we've decided to only have the new Halloween map on the mapcycle. We've had a lot of requests to play this map, since it's the one with new gifts and achievements. On Monday, we'll go back to a complete Halloween map rotation. :)

We can alternate between only lakeside and a full rotation every other day, if you guys want.

Maybe shorter map times?  I like "reliving" the older Halloween maps...

Sure. When we're doing a full Halloween map rotation, we have this mapcycle:
koth_lakeside_event
koth_harvest_event
koth_lakeside_event
cp_manor_event
koth_lakeside_event
koth_viaduct_event

Each map lasts 30min, except koth_lakeside_event 35min.

We could potentially make the old map 15-20min long instead.

That actually sounds good, and I agree with jack 15 minutes is good.

The HALLOWEEN EVENT server is now back to a full HL maps rotation.
The new map koth_lakeside_event is played every other HL map for 40min. All old HL maps last 15min.

I don't nkow if it's happened frequently throughout the day, but I've noticed that the server crashes upon map change and we  play lakeside again....can you make the map length shorter than 40 minutes maybe just 25 or something. =\

We've noticed frequent crashes on map changes on the Halloween server. Unfortunately, these crashes have been reported by several server operators, and it's likely this is something Valve needs to fix. We'll keep an eye on these crashes and see if we can limit them.

In the meantime, I've decreased koth_lakeside_event to 30min.

Unless it's just some random glitch...it's stuck on Lakeside again.  Even when typing nextmap

We've rotated back to full Lakeside mode.

I'll see if I can switch back to a mix without having to restart the server. I'll update this post.
We're a bit busy with Natural Selection 2 launch at the moment.

I've set the Halloween Event server back to a full HL rotation.
Unfortunately, it seems the server does crash quite often, and we haven't found the cause.

We'll keep you guys updated.
