Title: Banned for "server hijack attempt"

Hello,
Regular player here. I was banned after a map change for "server hijack attempt." My guess is that this has to do with me having

"rcon_password xxx
rcon sv_minrate 20000"

I have this in my spy.cfg for my team's UGC Highlander server, because our server resets the minimum rate to 100000 every restart if I don't. It is intended for that only.

I'll take the line out of my spy.cfg now. Please allow me to continue playing on your servers.

A few things:
1). Please confirm that your STEAMID is: STEAM_0:1:7407456

2). I don't see a ban for that ID. (sourcebans.hyperiongaming.org) Can you tell us when it happened on which server? It doesn't show up in our primary logs.

3). When you try connecting to our servers, what does it say?

4). Yes, any attempt at using rcon commands without being authorized to will get you kicked automatically, and possibly banned for a short time to avoid brute force spamming.

I would remove all rcon cmds from all your cfg to avoid this from happening again.

Quick update: you were automatically banned for 15min. You should be able to connect to our servers again. And yes, make sure you're not running scripts that try to use rcon.
