Is this named after the brilliant work of Dan Simmons? (Love the server by the way. Low ping) :)

Actually, no, the name did not come from his books. Our "inspiration" was really simple: a titan name that wasn't too hard to pronounce and was available. I am a Starcraft fan as well, and Hyperion is the name of the "famous" battlecruiser in both games. We can also use more titan names if we want to expand. ;)
