Now there are also talks of a no-crit server. Perhaps we can have:
Normal Server - Current server #1 stays the same Easy Server - Server 2, all talk, fast-respawn, etc Pro Server - Server 3, no crits, 24 player max, geared towards more serious players
It all sounds good to me. I'd really like the "Pro" server. Random critz drive me bat poop crazy. If Valve had not added Mad Milk, Pee, Frontier Justice, and all the other mini critz BS I could possibly see them being useful, possibly, but with all that they have added, there simply is no need for randoms any more. It's nothing more than a clusterfrag of mini/random critz as it stands. 32 people, with whatever ratio they us (for 24 players) it's like 3/1 critz/normal death. (Random rough figure based off experience in game.) At least that's how it feels in game. I want Valve to remove them officially, but they seem to think they are need (Paraphrase:)"to keep the pace up and the game moving along"......whatever. P.S. I'm sure I can drag a bunch of the formally SourceOP people to it, though I know some of them prefer 32 slot servers vs 24.

Doh! Seems you are right. I waited (approx.) 5 minutes before posting with no change. Figures they'd appear right after posting.
Thanks Plasma

As of this posting the servers are down.
Of the five servers in my favs list 3 are <not responding>. (One not being Hyperion of course.)
Just a heads up to the powers that be.

I just don't get why Valve refuses to officially remove them at this stage of the game. With all the mini critz weapons/stuff added, along with the ever so powerful Kritzkrieg, there simply is no need for random critz. May as well remove the Kritzkrieg with all the stupid (IMO) additions. /mini rant
This has been a bee in my boxers for some time now.

My opinion is as much as spawn camping sucks for the camped, it's a legitimate tactic. You spawn within a protected space (unlike many other FPS'rs) and if the team is smart (not all spy/sniper for eg) you just need a medic with uber, or a dead ringer spy (or 2) to go out and take the blast with the rest of the team following close behind. Let us not forget "Atomic Punch'd scoots".
Also, one can use voice/chat to say they are being spawn camped, and on good teams, someone from the front line should go back and help.
But this all takes something some players lack, teamwork!
If the team/player was good enough to get past the front line to spawn, they deserve easy kills. As much as it sucks to be the killed.

"Have you logged at least 24 hours of play time on our serves? Have you played on our servers for at least 30 days?" Though I believe I qualify, how do I know for sure? I'm used to using "time wolf" in-game on other servers to get server time. Doesn't work here.

They do offer reserved slots, just donate. I'm not sure, but VM (Verified Members) may also get them, but again, not sure.

I've always felt sniper and spy needs capping on any server. Anything after 2 is simply dumb in my opinion. It ruins the game. I think a lot of people do it just to grief. (When you say something, other people decide to go play that class to......very annoying.)
I like this game, when people are actually playing as a team. 5+ Spy-pers (any combination) is counter productive to this game. The more support classes, the less the pushing power.
As far as engy, I've never had a real problem with limits. They have 4+ engies? Get 3-4 (good) medics to build uber and go in as a team....as Charley would say...."Winning".
So yeah, I'm in favour of limiting spy and sniper. Possibly scout to. (2x2x2)
No matter what, do not limit medics though. Medics are important!!

Hi all. I've been playing TF2 for many years. I tend to find one group and play their servers exclusively. Once again my (current) regular TF2 server (Had several over the years.) is going to hell in a hand basket. So I've been playing Hyperion for a short while now and think this will be where I hang my hat from now on. I have enjoyed (most of) my time playing with the people here. (Hate when we have 5 snipers and 3 spies for example.) I really like when all the people who actually try for the objectives and understand class balance are on, keeping TF2 fun. Just call me Wolf in game if you like, all my friends do. (I prefer it actually.) Anyway, hope to enjoy many great games with you all.
