i've been playing on your servers for a few months now and thought i'd might as well try to become a member. medic and pyro are my favorite classes because i can't aim in tf2 and i have no shame admitting that. i swear my medic kills are flukes.
i love the level of the players on h-g servers, the challenge, and that's one of the biggest reasons i've stayed.

I go by Luminair and have been playing TF2 since the day it was released and have done a couple goofy tourneys and whatnot (ETF2L, etc).  You might know me as Luminair, Blossom or Yoko Ritona from SourceOP as well, if you frequent it.  I am the director of technology at a private boarding school and love movies/music and the vidya.  Hyperion is consistently fun and I'm really enjoying playing here!

What's up guys, my name's Taylor. I'm absolute rubbish at this game, but I always seem to have a good time on the Hyperion servers so I keep coming back.

I think it's mainly nice to play with people who actually give a shit about all aspects of the game (like capping and being somewhat strategic, rather than just the whole "kill people" dynamic), although I can't help but notice that on the flipside, server 1 seems to attract a LOT of whiny fuckers who take this shit way too seriously (IE ragequitters and leaderboard elitists). It's always pure entertainment though, and just adds to the experience!

the gameme stats is a nice touch too. Makes me feel like i'm trying to level up in BF2 again, and is a nice way to see if i'm improving at all.
