If you don't see the server in your favorites/browser, you can try connecting to it manually by typing in console:

Due to the attacks, the server can disappear from your favorites, while it is actually running. If you cannot connect manually, then you probably need to wait 20min to try again.

right on schedule down again..... sorry plasma, but im gonna stop donating and move over to EoTL. I tried starting a new community+server of old Hype players but people weren't interested.... so just gonna move over to an already thriving one with multiple servers and lower monthly VIP costs. I've been a member for over 10 years it pains me to see it comes to this.

Is Hyperion itself the target, or is it the result of collateral damage from someone targeting a higher level entity?

Roughly 2 weeks have passed since the attacks started, which should be enough time to draw some conclusions. 

Perhaps it's time to release more details on what is known at this point.

What's weird is that right now the server doesn't respond in the server browser, yet if I connect from the console it's up and running just fine...

To answer some your questions:
- Yes, the server is definitely the target of these attacks. The attacks start when the server is full, and the goal is to overwhelm the server. They happen daily for the past two weeks.

- If you would like more details, please PM me directly from your forum account here.

- We are mitigating the attacks, it's obviously not enough.
When the server is overwhelmed, most players are disconnected. The server also disappears from the browser/favorites list. When that happens, you can manually reconnect by using the console in-game:
connect 162.248.94.208:27015

- I understand if you decide to move on to another community. Thank you for your support for all these years

Sorry you have to deal with all this shit, Plasma. If you have an idea of the person who's doing it - or even if you can confirm somehow it's not a server regular - I wish we could know, because people are just speculating wildly about everyone they don't like in the server being behind it now. It's only a matter of time before Hyperion's best amateur detectives do real hurt to someone over it.

I've been notified by your community that I'm "under investigation" for hacking your server.  You guys are silly.  You should just leave me alone.  I left when I was told I should play somewhere else because I criticized Wolfpup and apparently generally complained too much.  I don't want to play where I'm not welcome.  You guys should take the win and be happy I'm gone rather than bug me about some shit I'm not involved in.  I removed most of you from my friends list and I guess that wasn't enough.  It's been fun but please just leave me alone.  I'm not a hacker and even if I was, I think there are far too few populated community servers with custom maps and old school players.  I wouldn't waste my time tearing that down.  I would just leave and maybe pop in now and then occasionally to see old friends.

Please guys, I get that these attacks are frustrating, but there's no point trying to find the culprit. And a witch hunt  won't help anybody, especially not the community.

there's always the possibility the attacker is 1 of the 600 dominations on my iron bomber and if it is then i would like to apologize to the community. there's also the possibility it is one of the dominations on my backburner and if it is then i would like to apologize to the community.

Is the server still under attack?  I login some times, when I'd expect to find it full, and instead it's empty.

Ataris when I saw you, I had flashbacks to dying 8 times in a row from sniper headshots.  I'm not very good at this game.  But it's lots of fun.
