why do i get "Your account could not be verified." error? Then it says "Error: We require all registered users to have at least $100.00 worth of games associated with their Steam account. This is to prevent users from creating multiple Steam accounts for use on this site, which might result in cheating. Games which were previously available in bundles are excluded from this calculation. Currently your account is valued at $29.99."

Well, you need to have enough games in your Steam library to participate. It's too prevent people from making lots of Steam accounts to try to increase their chances to win these giveaways.
It seems now they're not counting games from bundles though, maybe that's why you can't participate anymore. $100 is basically 2 AAA games retailing at $50.

You also need to set your Steam profile to Public in your privacy settings to let Steamgifts.com scan your games library. After it's done, you can set it back to Private if you want.

Coulda sworn it was less than 100 bucks. I'm not sure how I made it then, since the majority of my games were from Bundles.

Well that doesnt make sense. I thought gifts and other giveaways were mostly for people who oh so dearly want  that prize because they can't buy it or what it so badly. And if you have 100+ dollars worth of games, then i think people with a small amount of games in their libraries deserve it more These restrictions are counter-productive, but oh well, what can i do?    They could of taken an alternate route like achievements or steam level. I bet you those things are way harder to get than 2 lousy AAA games which prevents users just making a bunch of accounts.

If you think about it $100 for games isn't really all that much. I was looking at mine and I have 45 games but like mine hits $100 just with the $60 i paid for Bad Company 2 and the original $40 i paid for the orange box. That is assuming they go by what you paid for it rather then current game value.
