It's unfortunate that the demo system isn't accurrate enough to really get aimbotters in TF2 it's been talked about in many threads. A lot of cheaters use a "trigger" exploit that basically allows them to aim naturally then the exploit auto-fires when a character model crosses the target. It's unbelievably difficult to detect from spectating or through a demo there have been high level pro players caught doing this as well.

Considering the age of the game it's just something that will happen from time to time I don't disagree that there might be some players who use it and also some players using materials hacks to see through walls. A major redesign of the game is required to resolve the exploits and Valve will never do it at this point. Just keep an eye out, record steamIDs and demos, and if enough evidence is available they'll be banned.
Triggerbot can be hard to find yes but there are signs. They will sway their crosshair over the person head to shot
I grabbed this from a youtube video "When a legit player makes headshots, his crosshair ends up at the head of the enemy after well initiated mouse flick move. However, with a triggerbot cheater everything is different.

When a cheater makes headshots with triggerbot, his crosshair goes straight across the enemies head. It doesn't end up at the head hitbox, instead, it ends up somewhere else. Usually a couple of centimeters away from the head. "

I feel its more how much power the admins are limited to. Also try recording a demo of said hacker with evidence,slow-mo it to show hax and post it on the forums.

Good luck trying to get anyone banned for an aimbot here, no matter how obvious it is.

Uhh, who are you talking about? These posts are really vague. Name drop. Then we can get to the bottom of it.

And.....still at it. tonight even when we had an admin on, AND i watched the guy go from normal to taunt glitch (sliding), didnt help. We tried votekicking and not enough votes. Just pissing in the wind here on the forum I guess.

Had quite a bit of the taunt problems with the taunt glitch that messes with the hitbox today. Then there's the ability to headshot a sticky jumper mid flight at that speed. Quite the incredible shot. 1 in more than a million. When I went to spec this player, he switches to a different class. Can we ask ppl to stop using such problematic game ruining schemes and get back to playing?
