General Discussion / Verified Member form won't accept my Steam ID

HI there,
I am trying to become a verified member. I did a post in the Introduce Yourselves area, but this should count now anyway. When I try and put my Steam ID in (STEAM_0:0:41770063) it gives this error message and won't let me submit:
Your SteamID is invalid. It should appear as STEAM_X:Y:Z, where X and Y are single digits, and Z is a number.
This is despite copying direct from the GameMe page. Any ideas how I can do it?
