Hey Eraserpie,

We used to run replays on our TF2 servers, that was quite some time ago though.
I really like replays... the way Valve implemented them though is terrible. It makes the servers more unstable, sometimes slow things down (especially on a 32 slot server) and the Replay/STV bot configuration conflicts with our reserved slots.

In short, it's trouble... but I like replays a lot too.

I haven't looked at changes they've made to Replay for at least 8+ months, maybe Valve optimized/improved the Replay system (I somehow doubt it, it's Valve we're talking about ;) ). I have a lot of other more important/urgent changes to make, but I promise to take another look at Replay in the future.
