i agree random crits is part of the game, but there are hundreds of servers that run crits. it would be good it there was a server that did not run random crits.  =)

whatever you do don't play Starcraft 2.

The there is almost no skill threshold in Starcraft , you every game you win puts you vs a harder opponent until you get to the top 200 where you will be playing vs possible professional players. Where every match is nail-baiting , build orders are down to the second.

Used to be a High Masters Random level player
I quit,  my life is much happier now

Practiced 4-8 Hours a day, the game wasn't fun anymore, even when you won . Because the stress and brain power was so much lol .
(Hard to enjoy the fruits of your labor,  like if you get top 3 in a hyperion match you feel like a 100 bucks. but for example if you get top 3 in Starcraft it will be like  " ok congrats next match now you face a whole team of Glock Nines/Stabby Stabby -ts / ect. "

Also Starcraft is built for 1 vs 1
so the friend/ team factor is gone O_o

Can't wait for Heart of the Swarm yo comes out in about 2 weeks.

honestly its just a tag. people come from different games and keep their tag. i know an entire NRG clan in starcraft 2 but thinking of it now i don't think its the same NRG as yours.

there are a bunch of people out there using  tags unintentionally
 Â¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ataris can be a troll/ loud character, but who isn't from time to time , hell it makes the game even more fun with rivalry/drama
just my opinion

played all 3.

opposing force and vanilla was cool, but my favorite was blue shift.  i was always extremely conservative. i beat the game with like a million magnum bullets and those little troll attacking bugs that you let loose, i always like those ilttle bugs and i never wanted to give them away. =)

i dont remember which one but there is another levels that you go up in those icy mountains looking for a moth (moths) and you go to the circus also to find a moth, i liked that one too , its been so long , your freeman when you do the missions if that helps

edit: played when i was little so it was kinda cruel.   i would put satchel charges on my npc team in opposing force and blow them up in the middle of battles so they would retaliate and make it more dramatic/pew pew pew while fighting aliens/ninja goverment black gear people   >.>

i dont remember the story line too well and i havent played half life 2 but i always thought it was cool that the humans and the aliens were like "neutral" but they kinda werent at the same time, reminded me of men in black.  then again i read the lore a long while back so i could be wrong.

Welcome to everyone since the last time I posted!
It's nice to see some really detailed bio's among the shorter ones :)

I've tried to get into SC2... But definitely, I can't deal with the 1v1 stress of ladder. 2v2 was a lot easier for me to get into, but I guess it's not very balanced. I don't know. It seems you were close to being a "pro" gamer gaming Wizard. It's not too late to do the same in TF2. Ask iShank, he knows all the big names out there ;)

Also, you should become a Verified Member if you plan on playing on our servers somewhat regularly. It's free and takes 10 sec to setup. Just click on this link and follow the instructions: http://hyperiongaming.org/index.php?page=page3457 You just need your STEAM ID, join our steam group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/hyperiongaming) and make at least one post (which you've already made).

If anybody has issues/questions about the VM program, or whatever else, you can always PM me or email: admin@hyperiongaming.org

Welcome again!

cool!

yeah, starcraft can be quite difficult xD,
if your ever online lol just add me vVvWIZARD character code :124
old tag lol, can't name change so easily like valve games.  only gave out 1 name change since  it came out.

, i look at some pro play tf2 on youtube but i dont know much about the competitive scene. just lurking around here and there.  i usually see the 6v6     2 scout 2 soldier 1 med 1 demo matches, pretty fun

again thanks ^_-!

hi my name is Michael.  and i would like to say hi.

i find this game very fun and really cool.

about:  Used to play Starcraft 2 all the time.   used to play vs grandmasters/ get paid for coaching. always was a Blizzard kinda guy. Rolled random at high masters lvl, tried to get into vVv team to take it alittle more seriously. realized it was worth alot time to stay in vVv, (keeping active , helping people out for coaching ) so eventually i got dropped .  was always told i could go semi-pro but i never had it in me ( motivation ) and one day i wish i could get their.      meanwhile my gf moves in with me with her son so i quit sc2 because i will not have time for it anymore ( living in parents house they both sleep in my room lol ) .   once i quit i realized how free i was. how much time and effort it took from me.  i let go on alot of sc2 friends ( some i eventually met IRL in Blizzcon and MLG ) and i became sad panda.  soon i played diablo 3 since  it was really casual. only rolled hardcore and lost my 37 wizard, 28 wizard, and then 57 wizard. and never got back on since. so in the end i was playing team fortress 2.  the game is always fun and really flexible and always friendly. not only that i can leave the game asap if i have to help out elsewhere.  and the nature of the game is humerous and exciting.

overall my life did a 180 degree flip and i had to change alot of things. when from playing about 40 hours a week to about 4-6 maybe 7-8 if im lucky?  =(         anyways , life hits you where it hurts but hey, stuff happens.

i love you guys , sorry if i bio is kinda wierd/long

favorite class is sniper,
fact: when dead and in respawn time im mostly likely drinking water
during new map wait time probably at the restroom.
south american with a tad of italian and chinese. weird!
have voice chat but rarely use.
