We've been noticing server FPS drops since the last NS2 patch. If anyone sees anything, please let us know in this thread or via a PM. Try to include details, such as the time it occurred, how far into the round you were, how long the server had been on the map, whether or not there were an abundance of structures (turrets, etc), the number of players connected, etc.
You can type net_stats in console to see the server fps.
Thanks.

I've added a rule that will prevent two custom maps from being played back to back, to give quickplay a chance to kick back in.
Also fixed a bug in the map chooser. Please anyone let me know if you see weird behavior in the map chooser.

The four maps below should now appear on the map votes during optimal conditions (between noon and 1 am, and 23 players or above): pl_borax_rc2 pl_deadwood pl_halfacre pl_swiftwater_final_rc2 Keep in mind, playing on custom maps will disable quickplay for the duration of the map, so there may be a drop in players while on those maps. Please let us know if there are any problems.

That would be a little op, if say the other team has horrible players and if you have a lot of friends, then none of you would switch and the teams may remain stacked. Just saying, it's a possible outcome
Right, and fortunately I can track the command, so if you see see this happen or if you see anyone abusing the command, please let me know so I can tweak the settings.

OK I've enabled the buddy system. Type /addbuddy in chat or sm_addbuddy in console to bring up the buddy menu. From there, you can select a buddy. When scrambled, it will keep buddies on the same team.
The limitation is that you can only buddy up in pairs.
For anyone using this command, please don't abuse it.
Enjoy!

I believe there's a buddy feature in gScramble that we either haven't enabled or don't advertise. It allows you to choose a buddy so that when a scramble occurs, you're scrambled together. I'll look into it later tonight or tomorrow.

You're immune to votekick. Sorry...

You're right, goldrush and badwater were being played back to back too often on Votation. I've tweaked the config so that this hopefully doesn't happen as often.

I've been playing path of exile ( http://www.pathofexile.com/) almost exclusively for the past couple weeks. It's an action rpg like diablo, but deeper and more complex. If you liked or hated diablo 3, I'd give it a shot. Kripp ( http://www.youtube.com/user/Kripparrian?feature=watch) has some decent videos from december explaining how things work in the game. Right now it's in closed beta, but you can get in by donating $10. And, open beta is on the 23rd of this month. When it's released, it'll be free to play.
