I know this topic was talked about earlier, but I was going through some youtube videos and I didn't know they had some competitive tf2 clan scrimmage thing going on. Maybe we should get a group of guys and try one of those with other people just for the fun sake.

Hey guys, my name is Young and i go by sour skittles in game.
I was a fps fan ever since counterstrike 1.6 if you guys ever remember that game. I also played couple mmorpgs, but I must say i have the most fun out of fps games. tf2 was very hard to get used to because you have pipe bombs?? and arrows, and knives in the battle rather than list of guns.
my favorite class for tf2 is sniper, demoknight (with persian persuader), and spy.

another thing is that people hate spies because they suck and don't contribute to the team rather than being too good and ruining the game. So its more of a issue of which class contributes the most since tf2 is such a teamwork demanding game

i saw it happening too and my team never said anything. I thought it was normal but I didn't know the buff was on like that. It just seemed like there were many soldiers on the other team haha

Good idea. we could identify regulars more easily this way and the amount of support we get. Make sure we get verified and mature players the benefit of colors or clan tags though as it is like a double edged sword that if they abuse or play immaturely with the tag, it could bring the reputation of the server down as well. It seems that we are all around similar age (or not) and that is why I like this server

It also adds some psychological effect in the server as people who wants to pick a fight and degrade other players would keep quiet. Just like how when you see a police on the road, you drive half the speed you normally do lol

if class limits does destroy the fun and the game at some point, one thing we could consider is to have class limits according to the map. Some maps would have a cap on engineers and some would not.
One time I was playing on another server and they capped the engineer to allow just 1 player. Because everyone who tried to select engineer know that the engineer caps at 1 player, the engineer player now has burden on his shoulders to protect his sentry for his team. I guess it makes people to play hard and play responsibly or you would get yelled at haha
But again, tf2 should be played for fun right? haha

you are lucky to run crysis 2 on your computer. I wouldn't even bother with that because my computer barely handles tf2  Anyone else use a mac to play tf2 here?

This is just a suggestion, but I've seen from other servers that use a specific tag on your name to support the server. Say if its hyperion, you would have like hyp - in front of your name? It doesn't grant players admin powers or any authority on the server though. Maybe it'll attract people to join the forums and be more interactive with each other. Just a thought.
