Hi all, I've been playing on Hyperion servers for a while and just donated 3 or 4 days ago. With that said I'm having a hard time taking advantage of the donor benefits on Mac (I know, I know... Mac *eye roll*). I've downloaded the scripts, enabled developer console, and typed exec payload and/or exec votation, and so far nothing has worked. I've tried entering different variations of exec_payload exec_votation as well as copy and pasted the IP address of the server (payload) itself into the console (i.e. XX.XXX.XXX, exec_XX.XXX.XXX, ect...). Can anybody help me, or am I totally screwed?

Just type the following in console to connect:
connect 66.151.138.182:27015
or
connect 66.151.138.182:27035
Depending which server you want.

Hey Burger Bob,
I've replied to your question via email. It's quite likely the scripts needs to be put in another directory for mac.
Try to put the scripts there: "~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/team fortress 2/tf/cfg"
Also, what error are you getting when you try to execute the scripts in console? If it says something like can't be found, that means the scripts are in the wrong folder. Try the location above. If it says, something else, we can troubleshoot further.
Finally, try to simply use the connect command manually (the script is simply executing the command posted by Wolf above).
Hope this helps.

Hey guys thanks so much for the support, it was a simple as Wolf said. I entered in connect and the IP and it worked like a charm! Thank you so much, happy gaming :)

Right, the scripts provided are simply the connect command in a cfg file for easy connect. It's easier to just type exec payload than connect ip etc... I think the scripts are not working for you because they need to be in a different directory for mac.
But if you don't mind simply using the connect command, then you're good to go ;)
Enjoy!

Glad it worked for you. :) (As Plasma said the script should be easy enough to fix if you prefer that way but I have 0 Mac experience so can be of no help there.)
See ya in game.
